Due to the fatty acid make up of the culture with the presence of several types of fatty acids; palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic and a-linolenic acids. These fatty acids, besides being the primary components of the epidermal protective hydrolipidic film, have key roles in the regulation of the different steps of the healing process in the skin.
The culture works to increase hyaluronic acid content in the dermis and the epidermis, improving the structure of the extracellular matrix, and helping to ensure skin flexibility and firmness as well as moisture.
